Originally established in Abergavenny as a family business in 1990, Business Language Services Ltd. is now one of the leading language service providers in Wales. The business began as a language training company providing bespoke lessons to companies and individuals in Wales. This side of the business flourished for many years and many delegates from companies abroad would visit us for our unique training packages. Translation and interpreting started to become core services offered by Business Language Services Ltd. and these areas of business have continued to thrive ever since.
We moved to new offices in the Welsh capital, Cardiff, in March 2010 thanks to continued year-on-year growth and to keep up with the ever-increasing demand for our translation, interpreting and training services. Now occupying a prime location in the heart of Cardiff city centre, we are much more accessible and now offer even more state-of-the-art facilities to our customers.
We are a full member of the Association of Translation Companies (ATC) and a Corporate Member of the Institute of Translation & Interpreting (ITI). To ensure consistent quality of the service we provide, we operate in full accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management standard to which we are certified. We operate in accordance with our quality management system to meet our customers’ needs and fulfil all regulatory requirements.
Every member of our team is passionate about language and we provide in-house translation for many European languages, including Welsh. Over the years, we have developed a broad network of reliable, highly experienced, qualified translators, interpreters and tutors covering all fields of expertise. We are proud to say that many of our specialist linguists have been with us since we started out over twenty years ago. Thanks to our continued growth, we are now lucky to have many more project managers, more in-house translators and a dedicated operations manager.
